Tim Head

In Memoriam: Tim Head, R/W-NAC Area Manager

Tim Head, a long-time Right of Way professional and manager at SRLS, tragically passed away on Christmas Eve 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Tim was many things to many people. He was first and foremost a devoted husband and father. He was also a committed professional, a generous colleague and a devoted friend. Tim spent twenty years in the Right of Way profession initially with the Fort Worth District of TxDOT and then later as an Area Manager at SRLS, Texas, LLC. Tim held a Texas Real Estate license and also maintained an IRWA R/W-NAC certification. Tim graduated from Alvarado High School and then went on to attend the University of Texas and then Tarleton State University.

In addition to his love for the Right of Way profession, Tim also enjoyed spending time with his family, his church and the sport of baseball. Tim graduated from Joe Brinkman's Umpire School in Coco Beach, FL, and served as a baseball umpire for 20 years (two years as a Minor League umpire) and a football referee for seven seasons. Tim was a charter member and Deacon at Heritage Church of Christ in Keller, TX.

Tim’s life touched everyone he knew; his contributions to his community were many and enduring. He is — and will be — deeply missed.
